Astro Bot harus bersaing ketat dengan nominee keren lain kayak Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers 2, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, dan Thank Goodness You’re Here. Gak cuma itu, Astro Bot juga menang di kategori Animation, Audio Achievement, Family, dan Game Design.
Tapi, Astro Bot gak sendirian yang bersinar di ajang BAFTA Games Awards tahun ini. Balatro, game deck-building yang dikembangkan LocalThunk, berhasil menang sebagai Debut Game terbaik. Sementara itu, Thank Goodness You’re Here buatan Coal Supper dapet gelar Best British Game berkat gaya humornya yang unik dan absurd. Helldivers 2 juga sukses bawa pulang dua piala untuk kategori Multiplayer dan Music. Di kategori lain, Neva dari Nomada Studio menang di Artistic Achievement, sedangkan Metaphor: ReFantazio buatan Atlus berjaya di kategori Narrative.
